The objective of this integrated campaign for the Smoking Vehicle Program is to increase awareness and empower the demographic to join the 1-800-EXHAUST programs. Print, OOH and rich media were used to increase awareness and to drive the target to BAAQMD’s site for more information. Social marketing through Facebook and Twitter, allowed people to report smoking vehicles and speak with others about the program. Frequent posts continued to update followers on respiratory health, vehicle-related emissions, and green vehicle news.

 

The campaign generated over 46 million impressions and significantly increased website traffic, while removing hundreds of smoking vehicles from our roads.
